Tue Apr 01 00:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Kings Snap Losing Streak, Defeat Trail Blazers 128-107

**SACRAMENTO, CA –** The Sacramento Kings ended their four-game losing streak with a decisive 128-107 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers Thursday night. Zach LaVine led the Kings with 29 points, while Domantas Sabonis contributed a strong double-double of 22 points and 19 rebounds. DeMar DeRozan added 21 points and 10 assists to the winning effort.

The Kings’ efficient offense shot 64.9% from the field, scoring 60 points in the paint. A 12-2 run in the second quarter, fueled by three-pointers from Keon Ellis and Malik Monk (who finished with 16 points), extended their lead to double digits, a margin they maintained for the remainder of the game. Keegan Murray also chipped in 17 points for Sacramento.

Despite a strong performance from Deni Avdija (24 points, 9 rebounds) and Shaedon Sharpe (22 points) for the Trail Blazers, Portland struggled from the field, shooting just 39.8%. Anfernee Simons added 20 points, and Duop Reath contributed a season-high 17. The Blazers’ strong March performance from Avdija, who is averaging nearly 23 points and 10 rebounds this month, wasn’t enough to overcome Sacramento’s offensive dominance.

This win moves the Kings a half-game ahead of the Dallas Mavericks into ninth place in the Western Conference standings. They now look ahead to a six-game road trip beginning Saturday against the Orlando Magic. The Trail Blazers, meanwhile, continue their road trip, facing the New York Knicks on Sunday.
