Mon Mar 31 18:21:15 UTC 2025: ## Eminent Literary Critic M. Leelavathy Awarded Kadammanitta Foundation Prize
**KOCHI, March 31, 2025** – Renowned literary critic M. Leelavathy was honored with the ninth annual Kadammanitta Foundation award at her Kochi residence today. The award, established in memory of the late poet Kadammanitta Ramakrishnan, includes a cash prize of ₹55,555 and a commemorative plaque.
The presentation ceremony was attended by CPI(M) leader M.A. Baby, who served as chairman of the foundation and presented the award to Ms. Leelavathy. Industries Minister P. Rajeeve was also present to receive the cash prize, which Ms. Leelavathy generously donated to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund. Other attendees included Kadammanitta Ramakrishnan’s son, M.R. Geethakrishnan, and foundation patron Babu John. Several cultural activists were also present to celebrate this prestigious literary recognition.
