**Tirunelveli, April 1, 2025** – District Collector R. Sukumar has announced a local holiday for schools and government offices in Tirunelveli district on Friday, April 11th, in observance of the Panguni Uththiram festival. The holiday will not affect public examinations, with students and invigilators required to attend their scheduled duties. The district treasury and sub-treasuries will maintain limited operations. To compensate for the holiday, April 24th will be a working day.
