**Erode, April 1, 2025:** The Salem Railway Division announced disruptions to train services on April 3rd and 5th due to ongoing maintenance work. Track repairs and bridge reconstruction between Pasur and Unjalur stations in the Erode-Karur sector necessitate these changes.
Two passenger trains will be affected: The Tiruchchirappalli-Erode Passenger (No. 56809) and the Sengottai-Erode Express (No. 16846) will be terminated at Karur, not proceeding to Erode on the specified dates. Conversely, the Erode-Sengottai Express (No. 16845) will depart from Karur at 3:05 pm on these days, instead of Erode at 2:00 pm.
