**Hyderabad, March 30, 2025** – Telangana’s 147 municipal corporations and municipalities have surpassed their property tax collection targets for the 2024-25 financial year, collecting a total of ₹1,010 crore. This represents a ₹178 crore increase compared to the previous year.
The Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA) announced the successful collection on Saturday, March 29th. To further boost collections, municipal staff will be working over the weekend and on Monday. Citizens are urged to take advantage of a 90% rebate on outstanding penalty payments and can pay their bills online.
