**KYIV, March 31, 2025** – Ukraine has accused Russia of committing a war crime following a series of drone strikes on the northeastern city of Kharkiv over the weekend. The attacks, which occurred overnight Saturday into Sunday, resulted in at least two deaths and 30 injuries, including children.
According to Ukrainian officials, six strikes hit the city, damaging a military hospital, residential buildings, cars, and garages. One home was completely destroyed by fire. A spokesperson for the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office confirmed the casualties and described the attack as “massive.” The Ukrainian Army attributed the damage to a Shahed drone.
