**Belagavi, Karnataka, March 31, 2025** – Three 16-year-old boys tragically drowned in the Krishna River near Seetimani in Bagalkot district on Sunday. Somashekar Devarmani, Paranagouda Bilagi, and Mallappa Bagali, all residents of Ilal village, were participating in a religious procession for Ugadi prayers when the accident occurred. The boys were swimming in the river when they drowned. A case has been registered with the Bagalkot Rural Police Station.
