**Kottayam, Kerala – March 31, 2025** – A two-day colloquium on “Marginality, memory, and resistance” will begin April 1st at Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU). Organized by the K.R. Narayanan Chair for Human Rights and Social Justice, the event will feature prominent speakers including economist and chairholder Sukhadeo Thorat and social scientist Satish Deshpande. The colloquium will bring together research scholars from across Kerala and beyond, focusing on discussions around human rights and social justice. Other notable participants include MGU Registrar Bismi Gopalakrishnan and several scholars and directors from the K.R. Narayanan Chair.
