**Saraikela, Jharkhand:** A horrific double murder has rocked the Kapali OP area of Saraikela district in Jharkhand. Sukhram Munda brutally murdered his wife, Parvati Devi, and their five-year-old son, Ganesh Munda, on Monday morning using an iron pan. Police arrested Munda shortly after the incident.
Neighbors reported hearing a heated argument followed by screams before discovering the victims with severe head injuries and their throats slit. A blood-stained iron pan and blade were recovered from the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest the murders stemmed from frequent domestic disputes fueled by Munda’s alcohol consumption.
Relatives of the victims have arrived at the scene demanding swift justice. Kapali OP in charge, Sonu Kumar, confirmed the arrest and ongoing investigation, stating that the murder weapon has been recovered and Munda is being interrogated. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
