The National Weather Service has issued an Impact Day for Sunday night and Monday, predicting a high likelihood of thunderstorms overnight, beginning around midnight and lasting until 6 a.m. Strong winds and hail are possible.
Scattered showers are expected to continue throughout Monday, with a possibility of an isolated afternoon thunderstorm east of the city. Temperatures will drop significantly behind a cold front, settling into the 40s by late Monday. Cooler, more seasonal temperatures in the 50s and 60s are anticipated for the rest of the week.
Additional shower chances are forecast for Wednesday afternoon into Thursday, with Thursday marked as an Impact Day due to day-long shower chances.
