**Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, March 31, 2025** – Hundreds of Christians staged a peaceful rally in Kakinada on Monday, demanding a thorough investigation into the suspicious death of Hyderabad-based pastor P. Praveen Kumar. The demonstration, organized by the Christian Youth Fellowship, saw participants carrying placards bearing the pastor’s image and calling for justice.
The rally, which started at Bhanugudi center and proceeded to the Collectorate, included a large number of women. Participants offered prayers and urged state authorities to conduct a fair and transparent probe to determine the cause of Pastor Kumar’s death.
H. V. Murthy Raj, International Director of the Kakinada-based Christian Youth Fellowship, stated that they seek a swift and impartial police investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding the pastor’s death. Bishops Jyothi Kumar and Joseph Benny also joined the peaceful protest, which concluded without incident, according to Kakinada City police. Flex banners demanding “Justice for Mr. Praveen Kumar” were displayed throughout the city.
