Mon Mar 31 05:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Rising Star Ella Langley Dominates ACM Award Nominations

**Frisco, TX** – Country music newcomer Ella Langley is leading the pack in nominations for the 60th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, announced Thursday. With a remarkable nine nominations, Langley’s breakout hit “You Look Like You Love Me,” a duet with Riley Green, propelled her to the forefront of the genre.

Langley’s nominations span multiple categories, including Female Artist of the Year, New Female Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Song of the Year (receiving nominations as both artist and co-writer). The ACM’s unique nomination process, which awards multiple nominations to artists who also write, produce, or direct their projects, significantly boosted Langley’s tally.

Close behind Langley are Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, and Morgan Wallen, each with eight nominations. Chris Stapleton follows with six, while Post Malone and Riley Green each received five. Kelsea Ballerini secured four nominations.

The highly competitive Entertainer of the Year category features seven returning nominees from last year: Wilson, Johnson, Wallen, Stapleton, Ballerini, Luke Combs, and Jelly Roll. Kelsea Ballerini replaces Kane Brown in this year’s lineup.

The ACM Awards, hosted by Reba McEntire, will stream live on Prime Video on May 8th in Frisco, Texas. This year’s ceremony will be less crowded than in previous years due to the absence of the CMT Music Awards. The CMAs, the other major country music awards show, are scheduled for November.

Notable snubs include Beyoncé, whose Grammy-winning country album “Cowboy Carter” received no ACM nominations. Other notable omissions from the nominations include Miranda Lambert, Kane Brown, Lady A, Ashley McBryde, and Zach Bryan.
