NIZAMABAD, March 30: The holy month of Ramadan concluded on Sunday, with Muslims across Nizamabad district celebrating Eid ul-Fitr on Monday. Special prayers were organized at various Eidgahs across the district, including those in Killa, Arsapalli, Gandhi Chowk, Gajulpet, Kanteshwar, and Vinayaknagar in Nizamabad city.
Markets in areas such as Pedda Bazar, Gandhi Chowk, Nehru Park, and Bodhan Bus Stand were bustling with shoppers in the lead-up to the festival. CP Sai Chaitanya conducted inspections of Eidgahs and mosques in Nizamabad and Bodhan to ensure security and smooth celebrations. The festival marks the end of a month-long fast observed by Muslims.
