**THOOTHUKUDI, March 30, 2025** – Pudukottai police have arrested an 18-year-old youth, S. Pushparaj, for the murder of 50-year-old M. Parvathy in Pottalurani, Thoothukudi district. Police say Pushparaj stabbed Parvathy in the neck with scissors following an argument in which Parvathy allegedly insulted his mother. A murder case has been registered, and Pushparaj is currently in custody.
