**FARGO, ND** – Former North Dakota State Bison linebacker Nick Kubitz led the pack at Thursday’s NDSU pro day, showcasing exceptional athleticism with a 41-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot, 9-inch broad jump. The impressive performance took place at the Nodak Insurance Football Performance Complex in front of representatives from 27 NFL teams and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Thirteen Bison players participated in the event, including offensive linemen Grey Zabel, Mason Miller, and Hunter Poncius; quarterback Cam Miller; defensive linemen Loshiaka Roques and Eli Mostaert; running back TK Marshall; linebacker Marcus Gulley; wide receiver Braylon Henderson; tight end Joe Stoffel; defensive back Marcus Sheppard; and kicker Griffin Crosa. Former University of North Dakota receiver Bo Belquist also participated in the drills.
Offensive lineman Mason Miller demonstrated impressive strength, achieving the top bench press performance with 29 reps of 225 pounds. Mostaert and Poncius followed closely behind with 26 reps each. Zabel, who previously attended the NFL Scouting Combine, participated in limited testing. NDSU released the full testing results. The strong showing by Kubitz and his fellow Bison players suggests a promising future in professional football for several of the athletes.
