**Cali, Colombia** – Brazil and Uruguay battled to a 1-1 draw in their opening Group B match of the South American Under-17 Championship on Friday at the Estadio Olímpico Jaime Morón León. Nicolás Ezequiel put Uruguay ahead in the 47th minute with a skillful finish, but Ruan Pablo equalized for Brazil ten minutes into the second half.
