**Nagpur, Maharashtra/Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh – March 30, 2025** – Prime Minister Narendra Modi today embarked on a two-state tour, launching numerous development projects in Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh worth over ₹33,700 crore. His day began in Nagpur, Maharashtra, with a visit to the Dr. Hedgewar Smruti Mandir, where he paid tribute to RSS founder K.B. Hedgewar alongside RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. This visit coincided with the Sangh’s Pratipada programme, celebrating Gudi Padwa.

Following the tributes, PM Modi visited Deekshabhoomi, the site of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s conversion to Buddhism in 1956. He then laid the foundation stone for the Madhav Netralaya Premium Centre in Nagpur and inaugurated a Loitering Munition Testing Range and Runway facility for UAVs at Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited. A public address in Nagpur concluded his engagements in Maharashtra.

In Chhattisgarh, PM Modi laid foundation stones and inaugurated various development projects in Bilaspur spanning power, oil and gas, rail, road, education, and housing sectors. The combined value of these projects exceeds ₹33,700 crore. The Prime Minister’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to infrastructure development and economic growth across the nation.
