**Vijayawada, March 30, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh is expected to receive light to moderate showers from March 31st to April 4th, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The rain is attributed to a weather system developing in the Bay of Bengal and a trough extending across central India. Thunderstorms with gusty winds are also predicted for coastal Andhra Pradesh. Following the rain, a slight decrease in maximum temperatures is anticipated.
This forecast comes after Andhra Pradesh experienced a severe heatwave, with 27 mandals reporting such conditions on March 30th. While the A.P.
