LOS ANGELES, CA – Jason Momoa and Jack Black, costars in the upcoming “Minecraft” movie, are proving their friendship is as strong as diamond. The actors recently appeared on “Entertainment Tonight” sporting custom-made crocheted sweaters, a gift from Momoa himself.

Black revealed that Momoa commissioned the sweaters from crochet artist Tosha Marie (“Treat Yoself Crochet”), specifying colors for each: pink and purple for Momoa, and blue, green, and purple for Black. Marie confirmed on Instagram that each sweater took approximately two days to create. Momoa used the interview to give a shout-out to the artist.

The “Minecraft” movie, based on the popular video game, premieres April 4th and also stars Jennifer Coolidge, Kate McKinnon, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Eugene Hansen, and Jemaine Clement. Black recently teased the film in an interview with IGN, jokingly calling it “a big deal” and advising new Minecraft players to prioritize shelter and supplies. The actors’ matching sweaters are just the latest display of their fun-loving camaraderie as they promote the film.
