**Vishakhapatnam:** Delhi Capitals’ rising star Vipraj Nigam produced a breathtaking catch to dismiss SunRisers Hyderabad’s Heinrich Klaasen in a crucial moment of their IPL 2025 clash in Vishakhapatnam. The stunning grab, which left commentators speechless, broke a vital 114-run partnership between Klaasen and Aniket Verma.
Klaasen, who was batting aggressively, attempted a slog sweep off Mohit Sharma’s slower delivery in the 11th over. The ball ballooned off the outside edge, heading towards point where Nigam, despite appearing initially off-balance, executed a superb running catch. Klaasen’s innings ended at 32 off 19 balls.
Nigam, who made his IPL debut earlier this season against the Lucknow Super Giants, continues to impress. He previously claimed the wicket of Aiden Markram in that same match, and contributed a quickfire 39 in the successful chase.
