**Hyderabad, March 30, 2025** – Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has pledged to make Telangana a national model for development, emphasizing the state government’s commitment to implementing the “Telangana Rising – 2050” plan. Speaking at the Ugadi celebrations on Sunday, Reddy highlighted the state’s leading paddy production and announced a new scheme to distribute fine rice grown by Telangana farmers to the poor, coinciding with the launch of the Food Security Act.
Reddy stressed the government’s focus on generating income and distributing it equitably, urging a shift from political infighting to development. He lauded the recently presented budget, described as a balanced mix prioritizing agriculture, quality education, and welfare schemes. Key initiatives include the development of a “Future City” to attract investment and further growth.
Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka echoed Reddy’s sentiments, stating the budget prioritizes youth, agriculture, industry, and women, with earmarked funds for projects like the Future City, Hyderabad development, Regional Ring Road, and new airports. Both leaders expressed confidence that Telangana’s development trajectory will make it a national leader.
