**Beed, Maharashtra –** A low-intensity blast rocked a mosque in Ardha Masla village, Beed district, early Sunday morning, causing damage to the building’s interior but resulting in no injuries. Police have apprehended two individuals in connection with the incident, which occurred around 2:30 a.m.
According to police reports, a man allegedly placed gelatin sticks inside the mosque from the rear, triggering the explosion. The village head alerted authorities around 4 a.m. Following the incident, heavy security was deployed to prevent any further unrest.
Beed Superintendent of Police Navneet Kanwat and senior officials, along with a Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) and forensic team, arrived at the scene. A case has been registered, and authorities have appealed for calm, urging residents to refrain from spreading rumors. The investigation is ongoing.
