Sun Mar 30 12:35:43 UTC 2025: ## Local Brahmin Organizations Honor Eminent Lawyer and Judge

**PALAKKAD, March 30, 2025** – Three prominent Brahmin organizations – the Nurani Grama Samudayam (NGS), the Brahmin Educational Society (BES), and the Kerala Brahmana Sabha (KBS) – jointly honored senior Supreme Court lawyer C.S. Vaidyanathan and his son, Delhi High Court judge Harish Vaidyanathan Shankar, in Palakkad on Saturday.

The event included the eighth edition of the NNR memorial lecture series, featuring a speech by senior lawyer J. Sai Deepak on “Tradition, culture and Constitution.” Students and teachers from various BES schools attended.

Mr. Vaidyanathan, a recipient of this year’s Padma Shri award, also inaugurated the centenary celebrations of Lakshmi Nilayam UP School in Nenmara. His son, Judge Harish Shankar, inaugurated the silver jubilee celebrations of BES Bharathi Thirtha Vidyalayam English Medium Higher Secondary School in Kallekkad.

Several dignitaries from the organizations, including BES president K.V. Vasudevan, addressed the gathering.
