**Namakkal, Tamil Nadu – March 30, 2025** – The indefinite strike by the Southern Region Bulk LPG Transport Owners Association, which had brought bulk LPG transportation in South India to a standstill, ended Sunday evening. Over 4,000 tankers had been idled since Thursday, March 27th, following the association’s protest against new tender rules.
Following an urgent meeting in Namakkal, association president K. Sundararajan announced the strike’s conclusion. He stated that oil companies had agreed to most of the association’s demands for relaxation of the tender rules, leading to the withdrawal of the strike.
