Sat Mar 29 22:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Stars Shine Bright at TBS Drama Collection 2025 Spring Press Event

**Tokyo, Japan** – Twelve stars from three upcoming TBS dramas gathered at the TBS Akasaka Blitz studio on March 29th for a press event previewing the 2025 Spring season. The event showcased the casts of “Caster,” “Housework Across the River – This is My Way of Life!,” and “Ignite – The Outlaw of Law.”

Leading the charge was Abe Hiroshi, star of the Sunday drama “Caster,” who described his role as a “reckless caster pursuing the truth and bringing down evil during live broadcasts.” His co-star, Nagano Mei, plays a producer, and shared a charming anecdote about her recent personal news: a solo hanami (cherry blossom viewing) picnic with jumbo takoyaki. The younger cast members, Michieda Shunsuke and Okabe Takashi, revealed surprising details about Abe’s generous daily provision of fruit sandwiches on set, much to Abe’s embarrassed delight.

Tabe Mikako, returning to TBS after a five-year hiatus, leads the Tuesday drama “Housework Across the River,” playing a stay-at-home mother who re-evaluates her life. Dean Fujioka, also in the cast, described the set atmosphere as a “gathering of wild beasts,” highlighting the cast’s collaborative spirit despite communication challenges.

The Friday drama “Ignite – The Outlaw of Law,” a dark legal entertainment, features Mamiya Shotaro as a rookie lawyer igniting hope in those who have given up on legal battles. Kamishiraishi Moka, praised the strong team dynamics, likening the cast to a comforting family atmosphere. Nakamura Toru, expressing his gratitude for the close-knit cast, highlighted the positive vibes on set.

A fun highlight was a “drama set common occurrence quiz,” where the cast had to answer a question with a unanimous decision to win a ¥100,000 fruit basket. The resulting debate over whether actors should proactively approach co-stars or wait to be approached revealed unexpected insights, particularly from Okabe, who shared a humbling anecdote about a less-than-positive encounter in the smoking area. His self-deprecating humor provided a memorable ending to the event.
