**PALAKKAD, March 29, 2025** – A 46-year-old woman and her 12-year-old son tragically drowned in a pond near Nenmeni in Palakkad district on Saturday. Authorities identified the victims as Bindu and her son Sanoj.

Fire and Rescue Services personnel recovered their bodies from the Kalleripotta pond around 11 a.m. Police suspect the pair drowned while bathing. The bodies were transported to the Government District Hospital, Palakkad.
