**Bengaluru, March 29, 2025** – Two men from Tripura were arrested in Bengaluru on Saturday for allegedly peddling drugs, police announced. The Bandepalya police seized 11.5 kg of marijuana, valued at ₹6 lakh, from the suspects. The individuals, employed by a private firm, are accused of smuggling the drugs from Tripura to Bengaluru via train and road. They were apprehended near Somasundarapalya lake after a tip-off led police to their location while they awaited customers. The accused have been charged under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
