**Patna, Bihar –** The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the results for the Class 10th (matric) examinations today, March 29th, 2025. A total pass percentage of 82.11% was recorded. Students can access their results online via several websites, including results.biharboardonline.com, matricresult2025.com, and matricbiharboard.com. Jagran Josh also provides a direct link for result access.
The results, announced during a press conference, include a toppers list, gender-wise pass percentages, and district-wise performance data. Over 2.5 lakh students achieved first division marks. The top three rank holders were Sakshi Kumari, Anshu Kumari, and Ranjan Verma (amongst others, due to multiple students sharing similar ranks). The highest district pass percentage reached 97.8%.
A total of 123 students made the Top 10 merit list, with 63 boys and 60 girls. Twenty-five students secured ranks 1-5, while 98 secured ranks 6-10.
Students who wish to apply for result scrutiny can do so from April 4th to 12th, 2025. The scrutiny results will be released by May 31st, 2025. The application period for the compartmental exam is also from April 4th to 12th, with results due by May 31st, 2025.
The Bihar Board 10th examinations were held from February 17th to 25th, 2025, across 1,677 centers, with 15.85 lakh students participating. The answer key was released on March 6th, 2025, with an objection period ending on March 10th.
The board awards cash prizes to the top performers; the first-rank holder receives Rs 2 lakh, the second Rs 1.5 lakh, and the third Rs 1 lakh. Students ranked 4th to 10th receive Rs 30,000 each. Students need a minimum of 33% in each subject to pass. Results can also be accessed via SMS by texting “BIHAR 10 ROLL-NUMBER” to 56263.
