Sat Mar 29 15:29:37 UTC 2025: ## Thousands Celebrate Prabhotsavam at Srisailam’s Ugadi Mahotsavams
**Srisailam, Andhra Pradesh, March 29, 2025:** The third day of the Ugadi Mahotsavams at the Srisailam temple witnessed a massive turnout of devotees for the Prabhotsavam ceremony. Thousands participated in the procession of Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramarambha through the temple’s four main streets. The processional idols, adorned with eleven different types of flowers, were carried in a vibrant display similar to the Radhotsavam.
In the evening, the deities were carried on a Nandi Vahanam (bull vehicle). Goddess Bhramarambha was specially adorned as Maha Saraswathi for the day. Earlier, special pujas including Rudra Homam and Chandi Homam were performed.
Further celebrations are planned for Sunday, including Panchanga Sravanam in the morning and Radhotsavams in the evening, where Goddess Bhramarambha will be dressed as Sri Ramavani Sameta Rajarajeswari.
