Fri Mar 28 18:37:27 UTC 2025: ## Goa Driver Arrested for Stealing ₹16 Lakh in Jewellery and Cash
**New Delhi, March 29, 2025** – Delhi police have apprehended a 43-year-old driver, Induluri Ranga Reddy, in Goa for the theft of ₹16 lakh worth of diamond jewellery and ₹1.3 lakh in cash from his employer’s car. The incident occurred on March 24th in Greater Kailash, South Delhi.
Reddy, who had been employed by the victim for four months, reportedly observed her routine before executing the theft from a car parked near Pahadi Wala Gurudwara. Following the theft, he fled to Goa via airplane, purchasing the ticket with stolen funds and subsequently gambling at a casino.
Police tracked Reddy to Goa, where he confessed to the crime. Recovered items include the diamond necklace, earrings, and ₹50,000 in cash. Reddy, who previously resided in Gurugram, is currently in Delhi police custody.
