**CHENNAI, March 29, 2025** – Thomas John Muthoot, chairman of the Muthoot Pappachan Group (MPG), has been elected chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Southern Region for the 2025-2026 term. Ravichandran Purushothaman, president of Danfoss India Region, was elected vice chairman. The announcement was made today. This follows a recent election process within the CII.
