**Patna, Bihar** – The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the results for its Class 10 (Matric) examinations today, revealing an overall pass percentage of 82.11%. A total of 1,279,294 students cleared the exam, out of the total number of students who appeared.

The results show a slight disparity between male and female pass percentages. While 83.65% of male students passed, the pass percentage for female students stood at 80.67%. This year’s top performers included three students— Sakshi Kumari, Anshu Kumari, and Ranjan Kumar—each scoring 489 out of 500 marks (97.8%). A total of 123 students made it to the top 10 list.

The breakdown of successful candidates shows 470,845 students secured first division, 484,012 students passed with second division, and 307,792 students passed with third division.

For students who did not pass, the BSEB has opened an application window for re-evaluation and compartmental exams. Applications can be submitted from April 1st to April 8th. Results for these exams are expected by the end of May, with compartmental exam dates to be announced separately.

The Class 10 exams were held from February 17th to 25th, conducted in two shifts across the state. The BSEB Chairman, Anand Kishor, released the results and provided details about the next steps for students.
