Sat Mar 29 15:20:00 UTC 2025: **Riyadh Municipality Announces Eid Hovercraft Celebrations**
RIYADH, March 29, 2025 – The Riyadh Municipality has announced a series of Eid hovercraft celebrations to mark Eid al-Fitr. The festivities will begin at 7 PM on the eve of Eid al-Fitr at 16 locations across the city and continue until midnight. Morning celebrations will also take place at nine selected mosques following Eid prayers.
The events will feature a variety of innovative and exciting activities. Evening celebrations will be held in areas around Almuathar North, Hitin, King Abdullah, Al Naseem Al Gharbi, Al Arid, Al Rabwa, Al Hadha, Cordoba, Al Nahda, Al Sahra Shubra, Al Salam, Al Rayyan, King Fahd, Al Mahdiya, and Al Faiha.
Morning celebrations will follow Eid prayers at Al Ass Mosque, Al Awad Mosque, Al Nooraien Mosque, Al-Ess Bin Abdul Salam Mosque, Imam Al-Da’wa Mosque, and Al Rayyan Mosque in the Al Salam area. Al Thurki Mosque in Al Rayyan will also participate, with live video coverage starting at dawn.
The municipality aims to enhance its presence in residential areas and bring joy to both citizens and expatriates through these live celebrations.
