**Hyderabad, [Date]** – The Telangana government has launched a new loan scheme aimed at empowering youth and boosting the state’s economy. The “Rajiv Yuva Vikasam” scheme offers subsidized loans to young people aged 18-40 from SC, ST, BC, minority, and EBC communities to start small businesses.

The scheme provides loans with varying subsidy percentages depending on the loan amount:

* **Up to ₹1,00,000:** 90% subsidy (borrower repays only ₹10,000)
* **₹1,00,000 to ₹2,00,000:** 80% subsidy
* **₹2,00,000 to ₹4,00,000:** 70% subsidy

The government has allocated ₹6,000 crore for the scheme, expecting to benefit 5 lakh youth. Loans can be used to establish small shops, service centers, or other small businesses.

Applications are being accepted online from April 6th to May 31st. Selected applicants will receive loan disbursement letters on June 2nd, Telangana’s formation day. The government hopes this initiative will help reduce unemployment and foster economic growth. Free training is also being offered to beneficiaries.
