**Hyderabad, [Date of Publication]:** The Telangana government has launched the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme, a flagship program aimed at providing self-employment opportunities to unemployed youth from Backward Classes (BCs), Most Backward Classes (MBCs), and Economically Backward Classes (EBCs). The notification for the scheme has been released.

The scheme is being implemented through the Telangana BC Finance Corporation, MBC Development Corporation, 19 BC Corporations Federations, and EBC corporations under the purview of the BC Welfare Department.

Eligible applicants, aged 21-55 (21-60 for those in agriculture), must meet specific income criteria (₹1.5 lakh annual income for rural areas and ₹2 lakh for urban areas) and submit necessary documents including Aadhaar card, ration card or income certificate, caste certificate, pattadar passbook, and relevant certificates for irrigation schemes, disability, or transportation-related schemes (driving license).

Applications must be submitted online through the TGOBMMS portal: https://tgobmmsnew.cgg.gov.in/ before April 5th, 2025. Applicants should contact their respective District BC Welfare Officer or ED BC Corporation office for further details.
