Thu Mar 27 18:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Tesla Collision Center Firebomber Arrested After Week-Long Manhunt

**LAS VEGAS, NV** – A suspect is in custody following a week-long investigation into an arson attack at a Tesla collision center in Las Vegas. Paul Kim, 36, was arrested Wednesday and faces multiple state and federal charges.

On March 18th, Kim allegedly targeted the Tesla facility, damaging surveillance cameras with a rifle before setting several Tesla vehicles ablaze using Molotov cocktails. He reportedly wrote “RESIST” on the building’s exterior. Police say he arrived in a black Hyundai Elantra and concealed his face during the attack.

The arrest involved hundreds of personnel from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), the FBI, and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, who canvassed over 700 locations. LVMPD stated that Kim’s social media activity revealed involvement in groups supporting Palestine and communism, prompting a further investigation into his online presence.

FBI Las Vegas Special Agent in Charge Spencer Evans stated that Kim will also face federal charges and emphasized the lack of justification for the attack. Sheriff Kevin McMahill assured the community there is no ongoing threat, although authorities are exploring potential links to other international attacks against Tesla. Kim is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
