**Belagavi, March 28, 2025** – A unique musical performance celebrating the working class, titled “Beeso Haada: Songs of Labour,” will take place this Saturday in Belagavi. Modern folk artist Shilpa Mudbi and her troupe will present the show, a carefully curated collection of songs from the Kuruba and Golla communities, at 6:30 p.m. at the Shrimant Rajlaxmi Raje Vijaysingh Raje Patwardhan Shatabdi Sabhagruha, Government Chintamanrao PU College, Mirapur Galli in Shahapur.
The event, organized by a collaboration of Kalavkaash Art Foundation, Naanu Nammavarondige, Urban Folk Project, and Kalburgi Kala Mandali, highlights the struggles, resilience, and devotion of working-class women. The songs, gathered over two years, offer a rare glimpse into their lives, aspirations, and connection to labor and caste.
