HYDERABAD, INDIA – The Malayalam film “Mandakini,” starring Altaf Salim and Anarkali Marikar, has premiered on the Telugu OTT platform, ETV Win. The film, directed by Vinod Lee, was a box office success in Malayalam upon its release in May of last year and is now available in Telugu.
“Mandakini” follows the story of Aromal (Altaf Salim) and Ambili (Anarkali Marikar), whose traditional wedding and first night take an unexpected turn. A prank involving alcohol leads to Ambili inadvertently revealing details of her past relationship before marriage. The film explores the consequences of this revelation on Aromal’s life.
The Malayalam version of the film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The Telugu release on ETV Win marks the film’s expansion into a wider market.
