Thu Mar 27 17:50:00 UTC 2025: **Former Lions Wide Receiver Josh Reynolds Signs with New York Jets**

**New York, NY** – Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds has signed a one-year contract with the New York Jets, reuniting him with former Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, now the Jets’ head coach. The deal is worth up to $5 million, with $2.75 million guaranteed and potential incentives.

Reynolds, who spent parts of three seasons in Detroit, is familiar to Jets general manager Darren Mougey, having played for Mougey’s previous team, the Denver Broncos, earlier this season. His 2024 season was hampered by a finger injury and a gunshot wound, leading to his release by Denver before a brief stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In nine games this past season, he recorded 13 receptions for 194 yards and one touchdown.

Despite a strong performance in Detroit, where he amassed 97 receptions for 1,393 yards and 10 touchdowns, Reynolds’ time with the Lions concluded on a sour note, with two crucial drops in the NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Reynolds, a former fourth-round pick of the Los Angeles Rams, has played for five teams before landing with the Jets. He will look to revive his career under Glenn in New York.
