**RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM, Andhra Pradesh, March 28, 2025** – Police in East Godavari district are investigating the suspicious death of 45-year-old Pastor Pagadala Praveen Kumar. Kumar died on March 24th after his two-wheeler reportedly skidded into a field near Konthamuru village. The incident is being treated as suspicious due to the circumstances surrounding his death.
East Godavari Superintendent of Police (SP) D. Narasimha Kishore announced Friday that five investigation teams have been formed. Two teams will examine the route between Hyderabad and Rajamahendravaram, where Kumar was travelling. The remaining three teams will analyze the pastor’s call data records.
While an inquest and post-mortem were conducted on March 26th at the Government General Hospital in Rajamahendravaram, Kumar’s wife was absent, citing ill health. However, SP Kishore confirmed that her statement has since been recorded in Hyderabad. The investigation is ongoing.
