**Kannur, Kerala –** Three men were arrested in Kannur, Kerala, on Thursday night in a police crackdown on drug trafficking. Payyannur police seized 166.68 grams of MDMA and ₹4.5 lakh in cash from Mohammed Shamnad (35), P.K.A. Asif (29), and Mohammed Muhad Mustafa (29). The drugs were found in a lodge room on the Perumba bypass road following a tip-off. The suspects, who hail from Kozhikode and Ramanthali, have been charged under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The operation was led by Payyanur Inspector K.P. Srihari and supervised by DySP K. Vinodkumar.
