**Tirunelveli, March 27, 2025** – Water levels in two major Tamil Nadu dams, Papanasam and Manimuthar, are currently below maximum capacity, according to data released Thursday evening. The Papanasam dam registered a level of 92.10 feet (out of a maximum 143 feet), with an inflow of 143 cusecs and an outflow of 200 cusecs. The Manimuthar dam showed a level of 85.30 feet (out of 118 feet), with an inflow of 118 cusecs and an outflow of 425 cusecs. These figures indicate a lower than expected water storage for both reservoirs.
