Wed Mar 26 19:38:55 UTC 2025: ## Underprivileged Children Take to the Skies Thanks to Charity Initiative
**Chennai, March 27, 2025** – Twenty-five underprivileged children from Don Bosco Anbu Illam in Coimbatore experienced the thrill of flight for the first time on Wednesday, thanks to a joint initiative by Round Table India, Ladies Circle India, and GEM Hospital. The children embarked on a round-trip flight between Coimbatore and Chennai as part of a “flight of fantasy” program.
Following their arrival in Chennai, the children participated in a day of educational and recreational activities. Their itinerary included a visit to the BM Birla Planetarium at Periyar Science and Technology Centre in Guindy and explorations of local aquariums.
Varun Anand, Chairman of Madras Metro Round Table 95, stated, “Every child deserves the chance to dream big, and we believe this experience will be a stepping stone for them to believe in a brighter future.” The annual program selects an orphanage from either Chennai or Coimbatore to provide children with the opportunity to fly and explore the host city.
