**PALAKKAD, March 26, 2025** – Motorists using the Walayar and Panniyankara toll plazas on National Highway 544 in Kerala can expect a minor increase in toll rates starting April 1st. The hike, averaging 2-3%, will affect various vehicle types.

At Panniyankara, small vehicles (cars, jeeps, vans) will see a ₹5 increase for a round trip, rising from ₹165 to ₹170. Monthly passes will also increase. Mini-buses will see a similar small increase, as will buses and trucks.
