**Chennai, March 26, 2025** – The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) unveiled plans for a year-long centenary celebration, commencing on Vijayadasami Day in 2025 and concluding on the same day in 2026. B. Prakash, the RSS outreach secretary, announced a series of five events at the organization’s headquarters.
Key initiatives include nationwide rallies and public meetings on Vijayadasami Day, a three-week door-to-door outreach program to inform citizens about the RSS’s 100-year milestone, and Hindu Unity Conferences across the country to promote social harmony. A state-level conference targeting youth, including college students and IT professionals, will focus on patriotism, values, and the RSS’s work.
Furthermore, Mr. Prakash stated that RSS and Sangh Parivar workers will undergo training in five areas: social harmony, family pride, environmental protection, promotion of the mother tongue and traditional attire, and responsible citizenship.
