**London, UK** – Marvel Studios has unveiled a monumental cast for its upcoming film, “Avengers: Doomsday,” set to begin production next month in London. The announcement, made via livestream, features a reunion of beloved MCU stars alongside a stunning array of actors from the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises, marking a significant expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his iconic role as Iron Man, marking a highly anticipated return six years after “Avengers: Endgame.” The Russo Brothers, directors of “Endgame,” are also back at the helm. This reunion was brokered by Downey Jr. himself, alongside screenwriter Stephen McFeely.

Returning MCU mainstays include Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Anthony Mackie (Captain America), and many more. The film will also feature a substantial ensemble of X-Men actors, including Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), James Marsden (Cyclops), and Rebecca Romijn (Mystique). Further adding to the epic scale, members of the Fantastic Four – Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn – are also confirmed.

Adding further intrigue, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, who played Namor in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” will return despite recent allegations of sexual misconduct, which he denies.

“Avengers: Doomsday” will hit theaters May 1, 2026, followed by “Avengers: Secret Wars” on May 7, 2027. This unprecedented gathering of heroes promises to deliver a cinematic event of colossal proportions.
