Wed Mar 26 17:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Marvel Unveils Star-Studded Cast for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ in Epic Live Stream Event

**LOS ANGELES –** Marvel Studios sent the internet into a frenzy today with a suspenseful live stream revealing the massive ensemble cast for its upcoming film, *Avengers: Doomsday*. The event, simply titled “ANNOUNCEMENT,” showcased a row of chairs, with each star’s identity revealed one by one, accompanied by the *Avengers: Doomsday* logo and confirmation that the film is now in production.

Millions tuned in to witness the unveiling, which included a mix of returning favorites and exciting new additions. Returning MCU stalwarts include Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/Captain America), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Letitia Wright (Shuri), and Paul Rudd (Scott Lang). Simu Liu will reprise his role as Shang-Chi.

The live stream also confirmed the casting of the Fantastic Four: Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm. While Pedro Pascal’s participation is heavily implied, his name wasn’t explicitly revealed during the stream. Other notable additions include Tenoch Huerta Mejía (Namor), Kelsey Grammer (presumably reprising his role as Beast), and Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova). A surprise addition was Robert Downey Jr., confirmed to be playing the villain Doctor Doom. The nature of Downey Jr.’s character’s connection to his previous role as Iron Man remains unclear.

The film will also feature Danny Ramirez (Joaquin Torres), Wyatt Russell (John Walker), David Harbour (Alexei Shostakov), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), and Lewis Pullman (Bob from *Thunderbolts*). Winston Duke will return as M’Baku.

The Russo brothers, directors of *Avengers: Infinity War* and *Avengers: Endgame*, are returning to helm *Avengers: Doomsday*, which they describe as a “new beginning” for the MCU, following the conclusion of *Endgame*. This film will be followed by *Avengers: Secret Wars* in 2027, also directed by the Russos.
