Thu Mar 27 15:29:27 UTC 2025: ## Man Fatally Attacked in Home Invasion, Second Victim Injured

**KOLLAM, Kerala – March 27, 2025** – Santhosh, 45, an accused in an attempted murder case, was killed early Thursday morning in a violent home invasion in Karungapally. A four-member gang reportedly broke into his home around 2:30 a.m., using explosives and forcing entry. Santhosh, who was out on bail, sustained severe injuries and died in the hospital.

Following the attack on Santhosh, the same gang allegedly assaulted another man, Aneer, in Vavvakavu, Oachira. Aneer is currently hospitalized at Alappuzha Government Medical College Hospital with serious injuries.

Santhosh’s family reported previous threats against his life. Police are investigating, with gang rivalry suspected as the motive. The investigation is ongoing.
