**Belagavi, Karnataka, March 27, 2025** – A star-studded Hindustani classical music concert will be held in Belagavi on March 30th to commemorate the birth centenary of the legendary vocalist Pandit Kumar Gandharva. The event, organized by the Kumar Gandharva Foundation in collaboration with the KLE Society, will feature renowned musicians from across India.

The free concert, sponsored by the Belgaum Art Circle, will take place at the Dr. B.S. Kodkini Auditorium at the KLE Centenary Convention Center. The day will be divided into two sessions. The morning session (9:30 AM – 1 PM) will showcase performances by Siddhartha Belmannu, Kalapini Komkali, and Vishwamohana Bhat (Mohan Veena). The evening session (5 PM – 9 PM) will feature vocal performances by Sudhakar Chavan, Ankita Joshi, and Bhuvanesh Komkali, along with a flute recital by Praveen Godkhindi. The musicians will be accompanied by a talented ensemble of tabla and harmonium players.

Pandit Kumar Gandharva, born Shivaputrayya Sidramayya Komkalimath in Belagavi district in 1924, was a Padma Vibhushan recipient and a highly influential figure in Hindustani classical music. His centenary is being celebrated across the country by various organizations. Organizers Saranga Kulkarni and Bhuvanesh Komkali invite music lovers to attend this special tribute.
