**Thiruvananthapuram, March 27, 2025** – Senior Congress leader and MP Kodikunnil Suresh today accused the Enforcement Directorate (ED) of a biased investigation into the Kodakara money laundering case, alleging it shields the BJP’s “black money network.” Speaking in the Lok Sabha during Zero Hour, Mr. Suresh described the case, involving ₹3.5 crore in unaccounted cash, as a sophisticated hawala operation linked to the BJP’s Kerala election campaign.
Mr. Suresh highlighted that while Kerala Police investigations implicated BJP leaders, the ED has allegedly narrowed its probe, failing to identify the masterminds. He criticized the ED for focusing solely on the money transaction and ignoring evidence of a larger conspiracy, calling it a “brazen subversion of justice.” He demanded a full investigation under the supervision of a retired High Court judge, tracing the money’s origin and destination to determine if it was part of the BJP’s election funding.
